Studio Shoot

Morning
The wedding season is upon us again and along with it the pre-wedding/engagement shoots. These sessions are a real opening for me to get to know a couple whose wedding day images I'm about to create.

Small details and planning about the forthcoming day can be discussed and implemented, along with their ideas on pictures as well as any worries they have photographically before the day. But the main use of these sessions is to relax the the groom, most guys shy away from cameras. Standing in front of the camera for extended periods of time can seem horrifying, but after a short period of time in the studio they begin to relax and the good more natural images begin to show. The experience I find carry's over and helps them to feel more at ease during the wedding days image making. This will give the wedding album/book a nicer edge, which when looked at in the future will surely even more readily take you back to remember the perfect day.

Here are a couple of shots from the latest studio session:

The day turned out to be as informative as it was enjoyable, I'm looking forward to the wedding and making some exceptional images.
